Scheduling in the wireless nodes that are part of MANET in NetSim is taken care of by IEEE802.11e. This is enabled by default. IEEE 802.11e defines a set of Quality of Service(QoS) enhancements for wireless LAN applications through modifications to the Media Access Control (MAC) layer. The standard is considered of critical importance for delay-sensitive applications, such as Voice over Wireless LAN and streaming multimedia requirements. The procedures include the transport of voice, audio, and video over IEEE 802.11 wireless LANs (WLANs). It uses 4 access categories based on the traffic type and user priorities to forward the data. This can be enabled or disabled by the user.
To view, the IEEE802.11e settings in a Wireless Node go to its property window and under Wireless Interface properties you will find the settings related to enabling and disabling IEEE802.11e.

Scheduling in the wireless nodes that are part of MANET in NetSim is taken care of by Medium Access Protocol. This is set to EDCAF by default.
To view, the Medium Access Protocol settings in a Wireless Node go to its property window and under Wireless Interface properties you will find the settings related to Medium Access Protocol (DCF and EDCAF) in Datalink layer.
