In order to generate a fixed amount of data, we recommend you to use the NetSim IoT module where you can click on the application icon and configure traffic with fixed packet size(in bytes) and Inter arrival time (frequency of packet generation in microseconds).

You can configure multiple applications between different sensors and between sensors and the external network.

To stop sending data after a certain time duration use the Application end time property in the application window (shown above)
