We use Reprise License Manager(RLM) to control NetSim licenses. When a user runs the license server, RLM runs 3 ports for different purposes.

They are
1. RLM server port: 5053 (default value set in the license file)

2. Independent Software Vendor (ISV port) (i.e. tetcos): By default, a random port is set during the license server run.

3. Web Portal for license management for admin- Port: it is default fixed to 5054

For example in your license file here is how you can change the ports (Open the license file (*.lic) in any text editor) :

HOST localhost ether=XXXXXXXXX <Enter RLM Server port>

ISV tetcos port=<Enter isv-port>

LICENSE tetcos netsim_acad 13 permanent 2 share=uh min_checkout=120  _ck=8cd762cc64 sig="abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwzyz"

Please enter your port in place of <Enter RLM Server port> and <Enter isv-port>

Following things to be performed after the port change
1. Perform the changes in all the .lic files that we have shipped for MAC/Dongle address: XXXXXXXXXX

2. Restart License Servers to effect the change in the license port

3. Run NetSim, and change the port number in the login window with the updated RLM Server Port

Please note that do NOT change/add any other content in the license file including blank spaces
