In order to control device mobility in a predetermined manner, it is recommended to use the File Based Mobility feature that is available as part of the device Mobility option. This allows you to feed in a predetermined mobility pattern which can be either manually generated or imported from other tools.

The procedure to set up file-based mobility for devices and the format of the file in detail is explained in the NetSim MANET Technology Library manual.
